This blog is about the ongoing updates we make to the project bike. The bike was started before OLS came about but it has since been adopted and given an uplift in status..!! This first post illustrates what we can do in terms of bespoke engineering when necessity takes over. The standard bmw fuel rail became porous after we welded on two -6 male hose fitting and regardless of the attempts to re-weld it just wouldn't hold pressure. We ended up fabricating a replica from high grade stainless steel with some expert turning required on the lathe. The finished article fitted first time and held pressure, no leaks just smiles...!!! Peace of mind bespoke engineering....
